On the night before her wedding, Rebecca Oyedotun, a 28-year-old Nigerian woman, slouched while attending her bridal shower.
It was reported that Rebecca was supposed to marry Abiodun Oluwadamilare the following day at Ogbomosho, Oyo State, but she passed away at the last minute.
She was taken to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso after the tragic occurrence, where she was revived, but her condition did not improve till the early hours of Sunday.
Adejhoke Pretty Hoyee, a friend of the dead, joined a large group of people in mourning the woman’s passing and recounting the circumstances of her passing.
Yesterday was her wedding day, but sadly she passed away after collapsing during her bridal shower and spending all of yesterday in the hospital.
