Cadillac launched its first electric Escalade today. The 2025 first Escalade EV has a 450-mile range and up uses GM’s Ultium battery to provide a range of 450 miles.
But its price tag isn’t the only impressive thing about the SUV: It’s larger than most gas-powered Escalades—aand nearly a foot long, the Escalade ESV.
However, Cadillac says it still “considers it the most complete SUV GM has ever produced.”
A 24-module Ultium battery powers the SUV, generating more than 200 kWh of available energy. It supports 800-volt DC fast charging and can provide a range of up to 100 kilometers in ten minutes of charging on the 350 kW DC port. It supports up to 19.2 kW AC and estimates a charging range of 37 kilometers per hour.
The Escalade IQ has two electric motors producing 680 horsepower (505 kW) and 615 lb-ft (834 Nm) of torque under normal conditions.
However, it can develop 750 hp (560 kW) and 785 lb-ft (1,064 Nm) in Velocity Max mode. This allowed it to reach 60mph in less than five seconds at Velocity Max.
The Escalade IQ is coming to the road
joining the ranks of electric giants like the Hummer, Silverado, GMC Sierra Denali, and Ram 1500 EV. The new Cadillac measures nearly 19 feet long, eight feet wide, and over six feet tall. But you will get an amazing space with a capacity of 119.2 cubic feet with second and third seats. (It also has a frink that adds 12 cubic feet of storage space.)
All told the SUV can carry up to 8,000 pounds. In addition, it has a 55-inch dual-screen LED display that spans the dashboard, and its infotainment system runs Android Automotive OS (including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Play Store).

Production of the 2025 Escalade IQ will begin next summer at GM’s Factory Zero Assembly Center in Detroit. Prices “start around $130,000,” including shipping costs.
GM Says
GM says it will support bidirectional vehicle-to-home (V2H) charging for all of its electric vehicles with Ultium battery technology starting in the 2026 model year. The first vehicle first Escalade EV has a 450-mile range to support the technology including the year 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST, GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevy Equinox EV, Cadillac Lyriq, and Cadillac Escalade IQ – the company is set to unveil the latter on August 9th. There’s no telling when the Ultium-based Chevy Bolt will support V2H.
Many electric companies have adopted V2H technology, which enables homeowners to use their EVs at home. It is an option that can be useful at night or even save money by drawing from the EV battery when the price of electricity is high. You can also charge your EV by plugging it into your home’s electricity, of course.
GM Business about first Escalade EV has a 450-mile range
Last year, GM launched a business called GM Energy that includes a division focused on home energy management, such as V2H. In June, GM Energy announced some of its home appliances, which include machines that support V2H, so it’s only a matter of time before GM starts implementing the technology in its cars.
Ultium EV owners will be able to manage the energy conversion of their vehicles and homes using the GM Energy Cloud software platform. GM says first Escalade EV has a 450-mile range it will reveal more details about when it will begin adding the technology to its vehicles at a later date.
General Motors was unsuccessful with the Chevrolet Bolt. Back in April, it appeared that the company will stop the production of the popular EV product in the bag and EUV this year, mainly because it is based on the old battery cell in the factory that it built to repair. However, there is some good news for EV fans as GM confirmed a new version of the Bolt is in the works.
The company hasn’t revealed many details about the new Bolt
You’ll have to wait until later this year for that. However, unexpectedly, the next model will use GM’s Ultium battery system and its Ultifi software platform. The company says that, by using this technology, it will be able to bring the Bolt back to the market “in the shortest possible time,” but did not specify when that would be.
GM announced the Bolt during a 15-minute call. The company said it sees strong Bolt EV sales in EUV so far in the first half of 2023. It reported revenue in the quarter of $44.7 billion, 25 percent. of the previous year, and said that there is $ 792 million in revenue associated with the new. connection with LG. “The price reflects the decision that GM made during the Chevrolet Bolt EV and Bolt EUV recalls to serve customers in ways that go beyond traditional repairs,” GM said.
The company will produce around 50,000 EVs in North America in the first six months of 2023. It is a double goal for the second half of the year. It aims to reach a capacity of 1 million EVs on the continent by 2025.
So far, Chevy has three EVs on the road this year: the Silverado, Blazer, and Equinox.
The brand will unveil its first full-size electric SUV, the Escalade IQ, on August 9th.
Erik Buell, best known for founding Buell Motorcycles, first Escalade EV has a 450-mile range
Announced Fuell, his new electric motorcycle venture, back in 2019. In the same announcement, he said that Fuell will start working on another for his first electric motorcycle: the Fuell Flow. Following up a few years later, Fuell has given us more details on Flow and opened pre-orders today.
The Flow is a mid-size motorcycle that claims to have the capacity of a large bike, with 10 gallons of total storage plus space for passengers. It features 150 kilometers of city range at full cost and uses the CCS connection to charge. You can expect a full charge in about 30 minutes with a Level 2 charger and between one and a half to two and a half hours for a standard home charger. In a pinch, you’re looking at around eight hours when plugged into a standard 110/220V household outlet. While the bike’s standard CCS connector is widespread in North America, we have seen a recent uptick in car brands adopting Tesla’s NACS connector – fortunately, adapters are plentiful. The bike has a top speed of 85 miles per hour and a quick 0–60 MPH time of 3.5 seconds.
Buell says one of the key features of the Fuell brand is the integrated and replaceable battery pack. This technology will make it possible to replace some equipment as technology improves in the future. The company calls it the “battery pack module” and makes things like the charger, the tire, and the outlet quick to change and upgrade over time.
While Buell has a history with Harley-Davidson
Harley-Davidson hasn’t been sitting quietly on the sidelines, either. The LiveWire company has announced its S2 Del Mar electric bike in early 2023. The bike features 110 miles of range and a 0-60MPH time of 3.1 seconds. While the S2 Del Mar has a faster 0-60 time, the Fuel has more range and a faster charge. The Flow is also important in terms of cargo capacity and flexibility in its design.
The Fuel Flow is available now for order at $10,495, with an MSRP of $12,995.
