Chelsea has signed Robert Sanchez, a goalkeeper for Brighton, to a seven-year contract.
The 25-year-old, who spent ten years with the Seagulls on the south coast, reportedly cost £25 million.

Sanchez, who is 25 years old, will compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga for the coveted top job at Stamford Bridge. The Spanish goalkeeper already has a relationship with Chelsea’s coaching team because Ben Roberts. Chelsea’s goalkeeping coach, previously collaborated with him while they were both at Brighton.

Despite making 87 Premier League appearances for the south coast side since joining the Brighton academy in 2013. Sanchez fell out of favor during the conclusion of the previous campaign, with Jason Steele starting 15 of Brighton’s final 16 league games.
